A letter to my readers...

Wednesday, June 4, 2014

Dear tout le monde,

I feel as though I must be letting you down.  This time last year, when : the daily savant : was still new and getting its wings, you commented on my posts like crazy.  Day after day.  We interacted.  I was overjoyed to find that my photos were all over Pinterest.  I didn't have many followers, but those that I had were more than just followers… they were friends.

Now, as : the daily savant : rapidly approaches its second birthday, I've found myself missing you.  I love blogging and yes, I do it for myself, but I also do it because I like to think that I have the ability to light even tiny sparks of interest and inspiration in the minds, hearts, and souls of those who happen to stumble onto these pages, but I feel like my particular type of flame isn't burning so bright for ya'll anymore.  I'm pretty sure that I didn't sell out, so please let me know what I can do to win ya back!  I used to host fashion challenges, vlogged a bit, and had a feature called "How-To Tuesday."  Would you like those to return?

Talk to me!  I want to be whimsy and interactive once again.

  1. I may not comment either like Terry said but trust me I am sooooo totally creepin' on your blog and I read it all the time. Plus, when I look at all of your photos and see all of the dance poses it makes me remember my times as a ballerina. I miss Pointe even if my feet are somewhat deformed now haha! I'm totally blaming it on pointe and not genetics.

Plus, all of your pictures remind me of home. I may have my family in a different country (Poland) but all of your pictures are very European (duh lol) and it brings back awesome memories.

Oh and finally, you're outfits and your spunk in your pictures is just adorable.

  11. Funny this was the topic of your post. I was just sitting here making the rounds of my favorite blogs leaving comments because I've gotten way behind on that. Work and life often get in the way, although I always stop by and read the blogs I love. Schools out in another day and a half and I find I'm a more active commenter when I'm not working. I also think things like Instagram have changed the way things are for bloggers in regard to followers and comments.

  12. You look lovely! We are sure you don´t dissapoint anyone. It´s probably just the situation when the blog is growing and you have more and more followers but it is getting a bit impersonal. But a change doesn´t have to be bad. And your blog is AMAZING!
We will always stay your followers.
