Finally, we've reached the conclusion of our Great Italian/Sicilian adventure. I dislocated my knee, tore my meniscus, and probably gained about 15 lbs from all the pasta I ate. Traveling with kids for the first time was quite the experience, but we saw some amazing things, I finally got to visit the Boca della Verita, and spent many hours by the sea.
Here are just a few snaps, taken about an hour before flying back to Germany. I was down to the last few clean pieces in my suitcase, but I think it works.
Funny story… these photos were taken out at the very end of our subdivision. As we walked back into the neighborhood, I asked SB if he thought there were snakes in that part of the world. He said that there might be and thought nothing more of it… for 5 minutes, when one fell from a tree and landed right at his feet! EAP!
Great outfit for a day of exploring.
