Tie dye or camouflage?

I don't know if the rest of the world is like me, but I really enjoy getting dressed. I love to put outfits together and make complete looks that are great for any occasion. Today was one of the casual outfits (I've been working on these, as I usually overdress or am in workout clothes... need to seek a middle ground) that I was really proud of. It was great because on the day that I'd planned to wear it, I was going to be doing some office work in addition to teaching a dance class, so I thought that it would be great and presentable in the office (the very, very casual office, I might add) but would also allow me the movement I needed to teach.

I woke up, excited to bring my tie dye obsession to a new level with these shibouri dyed pants. I figured that the tank top and fun sandals would make the look easy and breezy. I got myself dressed and ready to head out into the world.

... but when I got outside, it was bloody freezing.

I attempted to re-work this look with boots and another layer on top, but it just didn't work for me, so I figured I'd just take a few photos in the cold and head to work.

... and then while I was taking pictures, it rained.

Looks like instead of wearing tie dye, I wore camouflage and blended in perfectly with the weather!
