Plaid and purpose...

Oh lala... The trend has continued... I've tried as hard as I can to be a good reader of Kinfolk magazine and I have really tried to slow down my life, but with my car being out of commission and needing to sell it within a couple of weeks, healing from surgery, and prepping for an international move, I just can't chill out.

I haven't posted here in nearly a week because without my car, I'm needing to bum rides and am spending 10-18 hour days in places with no internet. By the time I get home, I'm just ready to collapse.

It's a one-day-at-a-time kind of life over here.

The good news is that the swelling in my knee has gone down to the point where I was successfully able to (with compression stockings) slip into a pair of skinny jeans and keep them on for a full 8 hours! Small victories!

In this wild, crazy, busy time this outfit is helping me to feel more festive. There's something about red flannel plaid that just says "Christmas" and my sparkly new gems from Purpose Jewelry are helping my cause as well!

Are ya'll going crazy right now or is it just me?
