What are ya'll's thoughts on fate? Coincidence? Kismet?
The longer I live and the more experiences I have, the more I am convinced that it's a legitimate thing.
Here's the story: Several month ago, as you may remember, I re-newed my commitment to making more ethical, earth-friendly, fair trade purchase choices. At the time, it really only applied to clothing and accessories, but after a trip to a drugstore, I got curious about the products that were labeled as "natural." I took some time to stop and read labels and found that even the products that were advertised as containing all-natural, organic ingredients still contained tons of unpronounceable chemicals. That really got me thinking... if even the "natural" brands were using all sorts of chemicals, what could I do to totally transition my life away from using these products and into using things that were genuinely real?
Well, my friends, this is where coincidence comes in, because several days after this epiphany (and subsequent Pinterest binge for natural product ideas), I received a DM on Instagram from Homegrown Collective offering to send me some goodies! Fate? I think so!
Let me break it down for you... they are a monthly subscription service that will send a box of totally natural DIY projects that can be easily incorporated into your daily life. From soap-making kits, to home remedies, to natural cleaning products (like the one they sent me), their "Greenboxes" are pretty awesome! My Greenbox contains all the ingredients, containers, and instructions I need to get my home totally naturally spic and span! I especially love the natural loofah, bottle for infusion, and essential oils! I'm also looking forward to using the apple cider vinegar in my natural beauty routine (coming to a #SustainableSunday post soon!).
If you'd like to sign up for Greenboxes or get some more info, be sure to hop over to their WEBSITE for tons and tons if ideas the most fun, hands on ways to go green!
All products here were gifted by Homegrown Collective.
nice stuff!

This is a great idea! I already use natural cleaning products, but I'm hoping to try making my own laundry detergent soon. xxx
