#SustainableSunday with Rose Buddha...

Sunday, September 17, 2017

Today was an especially wonderful Sunday.  I got to spend some time exploring a lovely used bookstore with SB and then we got to have a quick wander around a rather colorful neighborhood.  It was the perfect place to snap a few photos so that I can very brightly introduce you to Rose Buddha!

I have been Instagram pals with @MyRoseBuddha for a few years and was finally able to team up with this Montréal-based eco-friendly leggings company!  The company is run by yogini mums Madeline and Maxine, artwork is designed by house-artist Emilie, and everything is handmade by local artisans.  Their leggings are made from a fabric called "Repreve" that is about 83% recycled plastic bottles and production is done as locally as possible to reduce their ecological footprint!  An added bonus of this collaboration, was that I got to practice my French!

I wore my Hamsa Bloom leggings for an afternoon of errands and yoga, but am already planning ways to fit them into my work wardrobe!  Stay tuned!  I have a plan!
