#SustainableSunday with Boob Design...

Sunday, September 1, 2019

Yes, you read that correctly!  I have teamed up with Swedish company Boob Design to showcase a few of their amazing maternity to nursing pieces!

I found them on Instagram through a fellow sustainable fashion blogger who is a bit further along in her pregnancy than I am, and I'm so glad that I tapped on her outfit for more details!  While the brand name cracks me up, their pieces are incredibly versatile.

Today, SunStars and I had to run up to Boulder to pick up a secondhand crib for the nursery (pics to come), along with a ton of other errands, so I needed a comfy and casual outfit that I could wear in public.  This moss green tee was perfect!  It is made of Lyocell, which is an eco-fiber spun from eucalyptus, so it's super soft.  The tee is also groovy because it is loose fitting and can accommodate more expansion in the belly area, but it's also perfect for nursing.  In the photo below, I got a bit silly showing how the front has a flap that can be pulled up.  When pulled all the way up, you can see that there is a center opening which makes it ideal for nursing.

Plus... I like to wear clothes a bit big even when I'm not pregnant and the color is divine, so I imagine myself wearing this tee until it literally falls apart.

Oh, and since they are just as groovy as they are, they've created a coupon code for my readers!  Save 20% with code: SIGNESXBOOB20!

What's sustainable about this outfit?

: the earrings are handmade from ferns
: the necklace was made by my dad from wood we found on the beach
: the sunglasses are made of sustainable wood
: the tee is made of Lyocell
: the jeans were thrifted
: the bracelets are fair trade and handmade
