I wear my grandma's clothes (part 2)...

Tuesday, April 23, 2013

The last time I wore my grandma's clothes, I was on a lovely weekend getaway to Washington D.C.  This time around, I worked, went to a birthday party, and attempted (errm...failed) a mission to see the Aurora Borealis.

In any case, this lovely tunic was another find from Grandma's attic.  It had a really lovely skirt (paging the early 1980s), so I took the top and tried to make it work.  It amazes me how things that have been hiding away for multiple decades can come out, freshen up, and still look good.  I got so many compliments on this silly elephant print tunic!  What can I say?  Granny's got taste!

  21. I think my granny has started hiding all her beautiful garments because a while ago every time I went to her place I raided her closet and found TONS of great items! I guess it's because fashion right now really has the moto "old is new" .. so my winter went by with granny's sweaters and everything .. Loving it! That tunic = infinite love! :)
