I once met a man who believed that every dragonfly he saw was a sliver of his father's departed spirit coming to visit him.  You see, his father loved dragonflies… the colour, their motion, the patterns of their wings, and so, it would seem natural for him to return to the world as a dragonfly.  

At the time this man was telling me this story, it was summer.  Hot, hot, Chicago summer.  Cicadas were buzzing and we were sitting in a pool, trying to prevent the sun from setting us ablaze.  He finished his story and climbed onto a raft, where he promptly fell asleep.  I was reading a book.  I happened to look up and notice that a large blue dragonfly had landed on his toe, and I couldn't help but smile.  

… and all that just to introduce this week's #freebiefriday.  What can I say?  I'm feeling nostalgic for heat and sun and gosh, aren't dragonflies beautiful?  I hope you'll agree with me that dragonflies are pretty epic, as this week's freebie is this AMAZING dragonfly ring from Azeeta Designs!  It is great stacked with other jewelry and on it's own!

    I really love your dragonfly accessories. I love all your accessories haha but the dragonfly stood out to me. Personally I lost two siblings and I really do believe that spirits live through dragonflies. I've had personal experiences so this giveaway stood out to me!
