Te he... Nice Cannes... Ok... done being mature now! This day of Great American Euro-Road Trip took us to St. Tropez (read: there is only one road in and it was gridlocked so we turned around and headed the other direction as fast as we possibly could) and then to Cannes where we passed the day at the beach. It was lovely to rejuvenate my quickly-fading tan and I was amazed at just how clear the Mediterranean is!
After our swim, we dried off and headed to Vence, which my travel book said was the lavender capital of France, but we didn't see any lavender. Instead, we wandered around, gorged on gelato and I pretended to be a super artsy photographer!
... These are the last of the Great American Euro-Road Trip photos... but never fear... I head to London in a few days! Woo hoo!
Very nice photos

I was thinking about your situation in Germany the other day. We have friends there who couldn't get visas either, so every three months they go to England and they can legally go back to Germany for another three months. Maybe that idea can help you out too!
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah! How long do they stay in England for? I'm heading to London next weekend and was kind of wondering if that might reset my 90 days! Can you put me in touch with them?

I just saw an article that was filled with pictures of ballet dancers in random situations and I immediately thought of you! You could also try out this thing they call a visa run, I don't know if it works in the EU. A visa run is a pretty popular thing expats looking for work do here. Effectively, you could go away for less than a day but to avoid being detected for doing a visa run, they usually go away for the weekend. :) Hope it all works out for you!
