Bonjour, tout le monde.  If you've been following along on Twitter and Instagram, you will have seen that today was our 9th day without heat, and while it has been getting warmer and sunnier outside, it's still been below freezing outside at night and not much warmer inside.  This morning, our landlord popped in to tell us that we wouldn't have heat until MONDAY and was emphatic that the company who provides oil wouldn't care if we called and asked him to deliver sooner (even though he had originally promised oil by today).  I had to remind the landlord that here in Germany, heat going out is considered an emergency and should be taken care of within 48 hours… and we'd gone 9 days and, what do you know?  A few hours later, our oil was delivered and I can finally peel off about 6 of the layers I've been bundled in for the last week + 

As an additional bonus, I can actually feel my fingertips as I type this and I'm not even wearing gloves! 

Since Fridays are, apparently, for small victories (last week we celebrated our new layout), we're doing another #freebiefriday!  This week, enter to win this super snazzy chain fringe necklace from The Quarrier.  I really enjoy this etsy shop because Georgiana, the mad genius behind the shop, likes to work with natural stones that are often overlooked, but she's still able to create beautiful pieces (check out the blue stone pendant she sent me HERE and take a look at my chain necklace HERE).  I also love that her pieces kind of evolve during the process of construction.  To me, that shows that she's open to change and can roll with the tide.  That's kind of my life mantra at the moment, so I can totally get down with that.

    This is so cool! I absolutely love the fringe necklace, really loving the leveled design, also the Kyanite necklace is so cute, I can already imagine wearing it with a lovely white outfit, showing some skin around the collar bones so the necklace would really stand out same applies to the Amethyst necklace. I'm actually in love with the store!
