Since truly committing myself to living the most sustainable life possible, I've found that a common theme has been my desire to turn to nature when life starts to become overwhelming. Life in this century is way too hectic with social media, cost of living, trying to decrease debt, and attempting to make ends meet, among other things.
As I sit here writing this, I've suddenly realized that modern life is complete chaos, but nature is rather chaotic as well. The thing is that in nature, there is a certain degree of symbiosis that humans kind of seem incapable of replicating at this point in time. I think that if we could take a page from nature's book, the world would truly be a better place.
I'll be honest... it's the last week of middle school before break and the children are losing their minds, which is subsequently starting to make me lose my mind, and a twirl amongst the trees and tall grasses was just what I needed to rebalance.
What do you do when you get stressed out?
