I swear I didn't mean to wear the vest 2 days in a row...

... but really, my circulation wasn't so great and I spent a ton of time wandering around outside in D.C. and needed an extra layer.  Day 2 in D.C. was another crazy busy day.  We got up and went to the Natural History Museum where I attempted to face my fear of spiders in the insect zoo, renewed our love of street food (hot dogs!!!), spent hours absorbing the Holocaust Museum (you get an identity pamphlet when you walk in with information about real people who lived during the Holocaust.  My person did not survive) and even met a Holocaust survivor.  We capped off the day at Arlington National Cemetery where we got to see the last public changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknowns.  It got me all choked up.  I made a video of the ceremony, so I can go back and get teary all over again.  I swear, I need to toughen up if I'm going to stay with my soldier boy until the end of time.

    That dress is so cute!! I thought it was a shirt/skirt at first, but I like it like this better :) And your furry vest is the best!!

      It is actually the red skirt over a cheetah dress. The dress is great because I can wear it on its own, or as a top or a skirt if I layer it right!

      Gaaaah! I'm obsessed! I keep trying to find another fur vest in a different colour just so I can break it up a bit, but I'm too in love to cheat on this one!

      What you didn't get to see here, is that I actually wore it 3 days in a row, but I didn't take photos of the other outfit! Muahahaha!

      It is faux! No worries! The only real fur I've got is a coat from the 1950s that we found in my grandma's attic, but I can't bring myself to wear it yet! I am following you back!
