Yes, tout le monde, today I wore a cocktail dress to work (aka middle school) and got away with it!  I love this dress.  While, yes, it screams "HALLOWEEN COSTUME MEETS DAISY BUCHANEN" and I did wear it for my Gatsby party a few weeks ago, I love this dress.  I found it at Plato's Closet for $5 (!!!) and really feel like it doesn't make it out of my closet nearly as often as it should.  

All I had to do was throw on a yellow tank, cover up with my trusty denim shirt and accessorize with one of the fabulous scarves that Soldier Boy sent me from the sandbox (aka desert aka deployment zone) and a pair of Mum's floral shoes.  

There is just something about fringe that makes the day more whimsical.  Go ahead, have yourself a right good twist!
