Don't worry… I'm talking about the shirt… not someone being actively passive aggressive. I've been on an insanely epic track with finding items that I've been searching for for years, and this cold shoulder top is another one of those wardrobe pieces.
When these first appeared on my radar about 2 years ago, I contemplated them. Like really contemplated. Like, I drove to the mall, went to multiple stores trying these on in different colours and prints, drove home, thought about it, did some work, went to bed, got up, went to work, went back to the mall, tried them on again, and well… you get the idea.
In all of this driving and trying and thinking, I never once actually purchased a cold shoulder top. My reasoning? It would be a fad item that I'd wear once and then sell to Plato's Closet for 1/8 the dollar amount I spent on it in the first place.
… so just imagine how happy I was when this gem popped up on Deb (one of my fave sponsors') sites! I snapped it up and love that it is also plaid AND flannel! I paired it with jeans and my lace up steampunk boots for a walk in the woods with SB, and found that it is actually an ideal hiking top. It kept me nice and insulated and, additionally, afforded me the opportunity to cool off by way of my shoulders. Who needs one of those crazy Under Armor neoprene tops with "ventilation zippers" in the armpits? Not this gal!
Do you have any cold shoulder tops/dresses? How do you style them?
Side bar… Christmas is coming… and so is a giveaway that has something to do with the lovely cat's eye ring I'm sporting here…
^ sums up the way I've been feeling pretty often lately (like a deranged branch moose)…

Thank you so much! I had definitely debated including the moose shot, as it is a bit silly! However, it's one of my classic poses in my personal life, so I figured I may as well include it!
