Smile lines…

Monday, December 15, 2014

Dear tout le monde,

This morning, I made a horrendous discovery.  I.  Have. Wrinkles!  What in the blazes is going on?  I'm not even 30 yet.  I don't have kids.  I can't possibly have wrinkles!  Ok… so they're smile lines… which means that I smile a lot… which are probably the best possible type of wrinkles to get… but still… I'm too young for this.

Ugh.

^ see them?

… there… that's not even a real smile.  Take that, raisin face…

  1. Aaaahhh the jewelry and tights! Love.

Also, I'm PRETTY sure you're looking too closely in the mirror ;) BUT you should read "Face Reading in Chinese Medicine" by Lillian Bridges - super interesting (and very accessible for anyone to read), and it talks all about how we get wrinkles, what they say about our personalities, and how to get rid of wrinkles. Neat ideas!

  5. it's hard to get used to the first expression lines. i have pronounced smile and frown ones now at 38! weight fluctuations and especially weight loss are culprits. in any case i do believe that a. beauty comes from the inside and therefore that b. there is beauty at every age!

    1. Thank you! I was going to go all monochrome, and then I remembered that I owned this cool skull scarf! I think it worked well with the outfit!
