When every day feels like Monday...

Monday, January 18, 2016

Snow!  We finally got snow in Germany!  And since I sold my car, I didn't have to drive in it!

Hooray!  What could be better?

Since my car went out-of-commission, I've had to wake up super crazy early and go to base with SB anywhere from 2-6 hours before I actually start my own workday, so as you can imagine, every day has started to feel like a Monday.  I basically go to Starbucks and hang out for several hours before grabbing lunch and then getting to work still a few hours early before knocking out my shift and getting home right around a normal person's bedtime.

Add all that to my preparations to return to the states, and basically, my ability to put together outfits at this point in time is tricky.

However, I thought I'd roll out of bed and take another stab at "winter boho."  The fringe boots are a go-to for any boho look, so those were a no brainer.  I added a bit of tie dye, some turquoise jewelry, and my favorite Om ring 'cos a little zen is always a good thing.

I think it worked.  It's cute.  It's cozy.  I think if I'd worn my hair down, curly, and with a headband it would have been a bit more bohemian, but my bangs (why did I get bangs again?) were making me crazy so they got the Elsa treatment!

  5. Sounds exhausting! We've had no snow here in Dorset, England, so I'm a little bit jealous. Loving the Elsa-esque hair! :) xxx

    1. I was never really a huge fan of "Frozen" but at one point last year, I had my hair in a side braid and my kiddos freaked out that I looked like Elsa. I figured out how to style my bangs to complete the look and I'm so glad that I did!
