There are some outfits that look great, but when you really step back and examine it, it's the jewelry that totally pulls the whole look together.
My friends, today's outfit is just one of those outfits... and just to test this theory, I took photos of it both with and without the necklace and it looks 100% better with the necklace.
... but it's not just the necklace that completes this look. What really does it are the super fine details. Enter: Shop Felise. I discovered this shop on Instagram and am so glad that I did. Elise, the owner and metalsmith behind the shop, created a fern ring and fern earrings that I totally flipped for on Instagram. I was beyond honored when she reached out and asked if I'd feature her work here.
If you've been following my sustainable and earth-friendly journey for at least the last few months, you'll know that I am absolutely, totally, and completely inspired by jewelry that comes from nature and her fern ring and earrings are just that! Seriously, I think I've taken the fern ring off a total of 3 times in the week since it arrived. I've worn it on multiple hiking trips. I wore it while camping (stay tuned for some sweet pics of the ring on that adventure). It is delicate and dainty, but every time I look at it, I now imagine being in the great outdoors and that makes me happy and has helped to carry me through several difficult days at work (in a windowless room with no views of the world outside).
These aren't the only awesome pieces that Elise has crafted for her shop. She's a firm believer in self-expression, individuality, and the search for inner strength. If you don't believe me, take a look at her shop and you'll see what I mean! It is full of items that have been handmade with intention and are built to last! If that's not something to be inspired by, I don't know what is!
