#SustainableSunday with Kindom...

Sunday, May 27, 2018

Over the last few weeks, I've had the pleasure of featuring a number of rather adorable tops from Kindom, a brand that I discovered on Instagram.

Today, I'm happy to have the opportunity to properly introduce them to all of you wonderful readers! Kindom was created to share sustainable fashion with the world in a way that reminds us that we are all connected.  The brand was named "Kindom" instead of "Kingdom" simply to point out that all of the people on the planet, and really in the universe, are kin: related.  If we stop to think about it, we truly are all related to one another and to the resources around us.  That being said, everything made by Kindom is natural, sustainable, reclaimed, or in some way indigenous.

I've been able to work their buttery soft embroidered babydoll, this awesome orange Universe top, and this cold shoulder top into my work and weekend wardrobes!  I love all of the bright colours and knowing that everything was made sustainably makes me feel good about including these pieces in my wardrobe.  Today, I'm wearing the top that initially drew me to connect with Kindom.  I love the tropical floral print and when I found out that it was made from reclaimed fabrics, I was totally sold!  The peeps over at Kindom also send me a skirt made out of the same fabric that I wore to my school's fifth grade graduation ceremony last week, but I have not yet had a chance to photograph it.  I am all about how versatile these pieces are!

Hop over to their site and comment back here with your favourite pieces from their current collection!

What's sustainable about this outfit?

: the top was made from reclaimed fabrics
: the earrings were handmade from sustainably-harvested butterfly wings

  1. I bought their Kimberly Patchwork Plaid dress and it's probably the cutest and most comfortable dress I own. Plus it has pockets!
