Playing the waiting game...

Wednesday, November 6, 2013

Well... I was hoping to show you some snaps of my ADORABLE new car (can anyone guess what it is?) but I didn't get to pick it up today, after all.  Once again, I cannot even tell you how much paperwork needs to be done to complete the simplest of tasks out here!  I have to get a new license in order to drive in Germany and I'be been up memorizing signs and traffic laws for nights and still don't feel like my brain can retain them all!  We have to transfer the title, and coordinate insurance (since my insurance guy from the states can't cover the car in Germany), and unregister the car from the current owners and re-register it to Soldier Boy since I don't have a license yet.

The list goes on and on and on... I'm hoping to get my new baby tomorrow or Friday... and then I'm going to give you a new freebie for dealing with me this week!  As much as I love being buried under a bureaucratic mountain, I simply cannot wait until all of this stuff is done and I can finally be totally independent and feel like I live here!

  10. There's always so much paperwork in Europe! I remember it was the same thing in France but with the French it would just take FOREVER for anything to happen. haha I hope things papers get processed a lot quicker in Germany.

By the way those shorts are absolutely adorable!

    1. It's not just Germany... it's having to do everything through the military... there is just more of everything to do. It almost makes me miss the states... but there aren't castles there, so I guess I'll just have to suck it up and deal with it!
