Wanted: Nessie...

Tuesday, November 3, 2015

Yes, friends.  There is no way I was going to go to Scotland without a side trip to search for the Loch Ness Monster.  And look!  I found her!

Ok... that's a duck, but I'm convinced that she's out there somewhere.

There's that part of me that just loves to believe that there is magic and that there are magical creatures hiding in little pockets around the world.  Call me crazy, but it adds a bit of happiness to my life and I love it.

I scheduled a quick day trip up through Glencoe where we saw the famous long-haired Highland "Coos," avoided all things haggis, and cruised up to Loch Ness for a quick boat ride on the deep, dark, mysterious water.  I even managed to capture many things on film that might just be proof of a mythical creature or two!

  2. I agree going to Loch Ness is a must. The drive is incredible, it does take a long time but so worth it. You look absolutely adorable and perfectly dressed to explore the countryside!

    1. The drive was SO long! I wish that the tour I'd booked stopped at more places. There were so many beautiful places that other tour buses had pulled off to enjoy. Nonetheless, it was well worth the trip!

  6. Unfortunately, I've never had the chance to visit Loch Ness! It's on my to-visit list, of course. I really love the idea of mythical creatures, hiding away and trying to avoid being spotted! Looks like you experienced Scotland's good, old windy weather! xxx
